Florida State's undergraduate and graduate statistics majors and statistics faculty are invited to join the department for its Spring Semester picnic! We've had a lot of fun with past picnics and are ready to make this one even better than before!
Guests are allowed. By the picnic rules, graduate students are supposed to fund the picnic with $5 each, whether or not they attend. Undergraduate students and faculty are not required to pay.
The $5 contributions are meant to buy the food to grill and some supplies. Those attending the picnic are still supposed to bring something else to help, though, usually a side dish or drinks. We may be looking for some guests to bring supplies such as charcoal instead, though.
Please let the deparment's Administrative Support Assistant, Marylou Tatis, know that you will be attending, either in person or by E-mailing mtatis@stat.fsu.edu. She and Ajay Gupta will also collect $5 contributions from the graduate students.
