A word about passwords. No one at FSU should ever ask for your
passwords. Do not give up your passwords. ESPECIALLY DO NOT GIVE UP
YOUR FSUID PASSWORD.
Also, neither I nor FSU will ask you to go to a third party website to
change your password. ANYONE TRYING TO SEND YOU TO A THIRD PARTY
WEBSITE TO SET, RESET, OR CONFIRM YOUR EMAIL IS TRYING TO STEAL YOUR
PASSWORD.
The only time I will lock your account is if you, your major
professor, the department chair or the University asks for it to be
locked, or if it has been compromised in some manner and is being used
to send spam.
