I obtained a Ph.D. in biostatistics at the Florida State University Department of Statistics in December 2013. I received a M.S. in biostatistics from the Florida State University Department of Statistics in 2011 and a M.S. in mathematics from Florida Atlantic University Department of Mathematics, Boca Raton, FL in 2009.
My research interests relate to statistical shape analysis of RNA and Protein structures viewed as 3D open curves. There is an increasing interest for the structural analysis of amino-acid and nucleotide data taken from the protein data bank along with the automation of their classification.
I currently hold a Visiting Assistant Professor position at Florida Atlantic University - Department of Mathematics, Boca Raton FL.
